Morning

Curtains are opened, the morning revealed.
Forgotten memories of how beautiful the view looked.
So used to seeing gloom, damp, old snow and bleakness.
The sun gave every tree, branch and twig a renewed glow.
With the blue of the sky, feeling like an early inkling into the coming Spring.
A teasing glimpse of what will eventually be.
Bird song on high volume, happy in sound.

Out of the mouths of babes!

I'm sitting here watching Justin Lee Collin's - Dancer. I was under the impression that this man was really just a comedian, but oh how wrong I am.
Yes it is a Saturday night and I am watching this.
I admit it.
I almost turned it over to Orlando Bloom in Pirates of The Caribbean, but then Justin's son came on the telly.
OH MY GOSH!
What a cutie.
He is a hilarious little bundle of blondness.
He's probably about 4 and has an interesting way of counting.
Here is his poor dad trying his hardest to practice the Paso Doble in his living room with an audience of one small boy, while also working on his counts of 8.
But his son, Archer, keeps telling him "NO".
"You're always wrong dad."
And then Arch starts counting in a made up language.
When asked what language it was.
His response is that it's from the South Pole, but only in summer, when the sun is shinning and only in the hotel, not at the beach.
Oh what a fantastic imagination.
I wish I had one like that.
