I have a presentation to do in February on Bereavement and Loss.
About 10 days ago, my presentation group met to discuss our thoughts on the subject.
It turned out to be very revealing and somewhat emotional.
But it also lead me to wonder what my daughter would remember of her childhood.
Would she remember shouty mummy?
Hopefully not.
We have a weekly tradition of watching Strictly Come Dancing and discussing our favourites. She tends to support and miss the underdogs who go out early.
But we also bake together on a fairly regular basis.
So one of the things that I hopes she remembers is coming into a warm home in winter, with the smell of vanilla from baking gently assaulting her cold, pink nose.
