There are definitely a few things in my life that I'm always thankful for.
The most obvious being my daughter, with my mother coming a close second.
I'm very richly blessed in the quality of my dear friends.
The fact that I currently have a warm, dry place to live is also a big plus.
And then there is the path that I started just over a year ago, with an Access course that has lead me to begin a degree, for which I am very excited about.
But what differs from last year is the missing element of DC.
Other then that, in the spirit of the 10 years that I spent in America, I am thankful for having what I do have.
