Waiting for a bus, an elderly couple walk up.
The man asks for directions and I tell him it is a 10 minute walk "that way".
"Oh no, can't walk it, I'm asthmatic," said he.
So they sat down and waited for the bus.
I turned away from him and another older man had sparked up a ciggy nearby. We were all down-wind from him.
"Excuse me, would you mind moving a little bit that way, please? The man over there is asthmatic."
The second geezer (very apt), looks at me blankly and says in broken English, that he didn't understand.
I turned back to the first old codger and gasp in amazement as he is now sitting there puffing on a roll-up.
How absolutely ridiculous is that???
