It was one of those lovely late summer/early autumn days, where the sun is still shining warmly down, enough to have the French doors open.
DC came over at one, which gave me plenty of time in the morning to do some serious cleaning, especially as I hadn't cleaned my flat for over a month. It felt so good to be wrapped up in each other, again. It had been too long, his words, not mine.
Lots of talking. Discussing feelings, emotions, future plans.
Talking about his feelings at being in a relationship, his anxieties about his future in general, although he is confident at his ability to work.
Any kind of chocolate would be a smash hit.
It ended up being a hot chocolate brownie with molten centre and a scoop of ice cream, except that they had run out of ice cream.
In my knack to see the simple answer, I asked why no-one had popped round to Sainsbury's to buy more.
Finally pudding arrived. The waitress smiled and said that she had popped round to Sainsbury's just to get vanilla ice cream.
Oh wow....above and beyond.
She was fantastic and the pudding was amazing.
We were happy people, with contented tummies.

We spent much time talking, listening and finally eating delicious salmon salads. He likes to sit side by side when having dinner in a restaurant, something that I've never done before. It makes the experience more intimate, more enjoyable and shared.
The option for desert was offered.Any kind of chocolate would be a smash hit.
